Mothers are a gift from God to every child ! She is the most wonderful being in this universe and therefore, to honour the mothers , St Mary's Academy Sarsawa celebrated Mother's Day in the academy on 9th May 2022 , Monday, through a special prayer service in the morning. The Marians exhibited their gratitude, love and regard for their mothers through speeches . Mrs. Veena Katyal Ma'am fondly remembered the contribution of the mothers' selfless love through a Hindi speech. Rev. Sister Principal , Sister Tissa S.D. ,shed light on the pivotal role of a mother in life of every human and exhorted the students to express their love and gratitude to their mothers everyday.

Our tiny tots of KG Section had a special celebration on mother’s day. The Pre Primary teachers made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in a child’s life through effective thematic presentations, moral stories and action songs. The Marians of KG section had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making beautiful drawing to show their love for mothers.

The following competitions were organised in the academy for the Marians.

• 1. Classes 1st to 5th - Card making competition.
• 2. Classes 6th to 8th -English Poem recitation. Topic- My Mother .
• 3. Classes 9th to 12th- English speech- Topic- My Mother.

The earnestness of the Marians attained a new high as they prepared beautiful handmade cards for their mothers and recited speeches and poetry exuding great enthusiasm and cheerfulness. Here's a recollection of some precious moments from the grand celebrations.
