Principal’s Day Celebration
The Principal's Day of Rev. Sister Tissa S.D. was celebrated on 1st October 2021 , Friday with great joy and fervour. Sister Principal was escorted to the stage by the Marian band group. The celebrations commenced with lighting of lamp followed by a divine prayer dance. Rev. Father Manager Father Jesu Antony lauded the earnest efforts of our Principal Sister Tissa S.D. for her unfathomable hardwork towards the upliftment of the academy. He presented a floral tribute to Sister Principal. The wishing song was sung by the Marians for Sister Principal. They wished Sister the festal greetings of the day and prayed for her healthy life. The Marian students expressed their gratitude to Sister Principal by presenting her beautiful hand made greetings cards and flowers. The Marian staff felicitated Sister Principal with a greeting card and a gift. Rev Father Manager presented a shawl and a gift to Sister Principal as a token of gratitude on the behalf of the management. A teacher and a student expressed thanks to Sister Principal, for her unparalleled courage and indomitable spirit to work selflessly for the academy , through speeches. The students performed a wonderful mime act ' Sin Chair' . The primary message of this mime act was that temptation can get you stuck in sin. They only way to get "unstuck" is through the Word and living the teachings of Almighty Lord. A treat of Bollywood numbers captivated the entire Marians. Sister Principal was overwhelmed with joy with the efforts of the Marian family. She thanked each and everyone of the Marian family for making her day a special and a memorable one. The icing on the cake was the fusion dance. The medley of Ghoomar-folk dance of Rajasthan, Bihu- folk dance of Assam , Dandiya- folk dance of Gujrat, Classical dance of Kerala and Bhangra the folk dance of Punjab , was the most riveting performance which drew an unceasing applause . Vote of thanks was proposed by the Marians of class 11th. The celebrations drew to a close with National Anthem . The students were given sweets on the occasion of Principal's Day. The fellowship lunch was prepared for the entire Marian staff. Here's a recollection of some precious moments from the grand celebrations.
